Step-by-Step Instructions
Setting up in 5 steps
Step 1
Hang ARKVAL on a shirt hanger
Use any standard shirt hanger. Attach it to the hanger loop at the top of the organizer. Hang it in a spot that's easy to see near the wardrobe, the dining area, or anywhere you pass by regularly.
Step 2
Read your prescription
Look at your doctor's prescription and note which medicine is to be taken at what time morning, afternoon, night, or as needed.
Step 3
Place each strip into the correct pocket
Do not remove tablets from their strips. Place the full blister pack or strip directly into the pocket that matches the time it should be taken. Morning medicines go into the Morning row. Night medicines go into the Night row.
The strip stays sealed and protected until the moment it's needed.
Step 4
Write the medicine name on the label area (optional)
Each pocket has a small label area. If you'd like, use a marker to write the medicine name or the family member's name. This helps when multiple people's medicines are stored together.
Step 5
Use it every day exactly as prescribed
Walk up to the organizer. Look at the time row. Pick the right strip from the right pocket. Take your medicine. It's that simple.
When travelling, unfold the organizer flat, fold it into a roll, secure it, and place it in your bag. Everything stays in order.
Tips for Best Results
- Load medicines at the start of each month — set aside 10 minutes on the 1st of every month to refresh all pockets.
- Use the Miscellaneous row for medicines taken 'as needed' — pain relievers, antacids, or vitamins.
- If two family members share the organizer, use the label area to mark whose medicine is in which pocket.
- When travelling, load only what you need — estimate one strip per pocket per day of travel.
- To clean: wipe the leather exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth. The transparent pockets can be gently wiped clean.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to remove medicines from their strips?
No. In fact, you should not. The entire point of ARKVAL is that medicines stay in their original factory-sealed packaging. Simply place the full strip or blister pack into the pocket as-is. This protects the medicine and keeps the name and expiry visible.
Can the organizer hold bottles and tubes as well as strips?
Yes. Depending on the model, the pockets can accommodate small bottles, ointment tubes, and syrup containers. Models C and F have especially wide pockets for this purpose. Check the product page for your specific model’s pocket dimensions.
What if my strips are large will they fit?
ARKVAL comes in six models with different pocket sizes, precisely to accommodate different strip sizes. If you’re unsure which model is right, contact us and we’ll guide you.
Can it really hang on a shirt hanger?
Yes any standard shirt hanger. No wall brackets, no drilling, no installation. Hang it on a wardrobe door, a hook, or anywhere a hanger can go.
Is it easy to travel with?
Very. All ARKVAL models fold flat into a compact roll. Small models (D, E, F) fit easily in any bag or suitcase. Large models (A, B, C) fold into a roll roughly the size of a small magazine.
Is ARKVAL only for elderly people?
Not at all. While it’s designed with elderly patients in mind, ARKVAL is used by students managing a health routine in hostels, adults managing chronic conditions, and families who want to stay organized. Anyone managing multiple medicines regularly will benefit.
Are the labels in Telugu only, or other languages too?
Current models include labels in English and Telugu. If you’d like labels in another regional language, contact us — we’re working on expanding language options.
